Cimier du Clan Ramsay

Bonjour et bienvenue sur la page du Clan Ramsay en France.

Notre Clan fait partie des anciens clans d’Ecosse… Sa fondation approximative date de 1140, au moment où David Ier donna des terres du Lothian ((La partie située juste sous Edinburgh.))  à Simundus de Ramesia. Ainsi, il put acquérir les terres de Dalhousie où s’établit le Clan.

Aujourd’hui le Clan existe toujours. Il comporte de nombreux Clansmen situés dans les pays suivants :

  • Ecosse
  • Etats-Unis d’Amérique
  • Canada et Nouvelle Ecosse
  • Australie…

Les Ecossais étaient de grands voyageurs, ils ont donc établi des colonies dans différents pays. Parmi eux étaient des Ramsay.

Le Clan possède des représentants dans ces pays ainsi que dans les pays suivants :

  • Finlande
  • France
